Any two Cisco Catalyst 6500E series Switches with Supervis Engine 720-3C/720-3CXL/S2T-10G/S2T-10G-XL can be pooled together into a VSS. The chassis offers superi investment protection by suppting all the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Supervis Engines and associated LAN, WAN, and services modules.
